I am glad that you liked Toto's Africa. And to think it almost didn't make the cut on the record album. That would have been sad.

The "voice only" version by Perpetuum Jazzile is impressive, as evidenced by the audience response.

Switching gears, I'm now listening to the acoustic guitar solo, Embrionic Journey from Jefferson Airplane's Surrealistic Pillow album. I consider it an inspired work of music (but not on the same level as Handel's Messiah). Peter Green has posted his excellent performance of Embrionic Journey on YouTube at

It brings back memories of a mis-spent youth. Still good memories.

I've been wandering around YouTube and found this. Surf music usually doesn't do much for me, but I really liked this one. It's relaxing and almost hypnotic. In fact it will probably turn into an earworm I can't shake.

Over the years I collected more than 450 music cd and lp record. After I retired I converted all to mp3
music. Load them in myportable mp3 and play them, shuffled. So Listened to various music and lyrics where ever
I go.Mostly I play them while bowling in the senior league 3 days a week. Most of my collections dated from
1938 to 2008 and mostly are top hits from all genre:)
