A friend and I were talking the other day about how some people have such distinctive voices that you can hear just a note or two and you know who it is. Wow I can't believe it has been so long since I posted here. Thank you for the link. She does truly have an amazing voice. I loved A Star is Born and so many of her songs. There are some truly great voices out there and she is one. I also love Janis Joplin another woman with an amazing voice.. I only wish that we could have had more years with her. I never saw her perform live.. I saw Love Janis off Broadway and that was great but I would have loved to see Janis live. http://youtu.be/-7JVxE2SYxo

Currently listening to "Generic Flipper" by Flipper. I just found out that my old friend Rachel T. (from "Frightwig") played bass on the last album and is also playing on the European tour.

Tschaikovsky Piano Concerto #1. The very first recording of any kind I ever bought.

I think it even might have been 78 rpm. Never owned a 45 rpm or 8 track tape but I do have many

33 1/3 and, of course, many CD's.

I bought last week at Target, Adele's "21" CD,what a voice,very talented,can see why she won all those grammys this yr. My other favorite singers,James Taylor,Sarah McLachan. I also love british choral composer,John Rutter,own 5 of his cd's,his music soothes my soul

Glad you are enjoying that new Bose player.. I had one for years before it finally died and it sounded great.. I love Adele as well. Her voice is wonderful. Do you like Amy Winehouse, another great English bluesy singer?
