It was taken from a graphic novel (comic book). It is an excellent movie with a very good message to beware those who are dogmatic and want to do what is good for you. Kind of like watch out for the guy carrying a Bible and waving a flag. There in violence but I have seen much worse. I don't care about foul language unless it is being used to much or wrong. No nudity that I remember. Anyone else seen the movie and have an opinion? |

I've seen the movie and I think it's a very well done fictionalized rendition of an important event in England. I'd heard from my British friends about Guy Fawkes Day, but I never knew the story behind it. I'm not a historian, but I appreciated knowing the history behind a holiday my British friends observe with fondness. It's kind of a nice story based on a true event. Like Les Miserables. |
