In Response to The Help: saw this movie. i expected a lot of laughter. it was more sad than funny. but it was an excellent movie. i don't want to buy the book, so i'm on a waiting list at the library for the book. Posted by coco8497 We saw the movie and both agreed it was one of the best movies we've seen in a long time. The theater was full and there was laughter and cheers and clapping during a few scenes. I won't be buying the book but am anxious to read it. |

In Response to Re: The Help: I read the book and saw the movie. I think the book was better. Being a Yankee, I didn't see any of the things they brought out and I don't even think I was aware of them. The Help was history to me and I would recommend both the book and the movie to everyone. Posted by shirl111 I read the book and saw the movie. I thought they were both great! |
