Why not remake BAD old movies ? I would love to see Sidney Sheldon's "The Other Side of Midnight" remade. Even though I liked the first one, many critics and audiences did not. Also, they can get away with much more now than in 1977.

Nice thought and in a fact a good idea for producers to experiment with. Never seen such an attempt made of remaking a bad movie and this is more unlikely to happen because I am sure they will not gamble with such an attempt in fear of loosing. I personally feel the remake of "The Other Side of Midnight" would be wonderful. Let's hope that such a thought do hit their minds.

The Godfather III as originally casted, with Winona Ryder instead of Sofia Coppola. Leave the rest of it as is.

I'd like to see "Bedknobs and Broomsticks" made again. The original had Angela Lansbury in it. I think the advances in special effects could make this classic even better and it had good special effects in the original!

A Clockwork Orange. The movie was based the American version of the novel. The ending was with Alex being rewarded as a criminal.The British novel contained the last chapter which has Alex changing to fully understand what his life was as a common criminal to a worthwhile human helping society. I believe the impact of the complete novel on film would be profound to todays audience.

None. Furthermore, any remake of a movie should not be eligible for an Oscar in any category.

Why should ANY movie be remade. Let the original stand or fall as created. What ever happened to ORIGINALITY and CREATIVITY?? Are we so brain dead as a society that all we can come up with are copies and clones???
