I recently read that they are remaking "The Thin Man," with Johnny Depp already signed on in the William Powell/Nick Charles role. My vote for the Myrna Loy/Nora Charles role is Sandra Bullock. Since I love screwball comedies, I wouldn't mind seeing Frank Capra's "You Can't Take It With You" get a modern makeover. The problem is that not too many younger stars today have the star power to be cast as the lead in movies. Personally, I think Josh Duhamel or up-and-comer James Wolk would make good choices for the Jimmy Stewart role. And Amy Adams or Isla Fisher in the Jean Arthur role. |

In Response to Re: What movie would you remake?: GWTW Posted by coyote146 A re-make of Gone With The Wind? Oh, that might be possible, but , they could never do one that is as good as the original! IMHO. |
