What movie would you remake?

Lately, Hollywood has not come up with an ORIGINAL IDEA for movie making. Instead, they remake classic movies or add sequels to classics and in almost all cases, - they fail. Why not remake BAD old movies ? I would love to see Sidney Sheldon's "The Other Side of Midnight" remade. Even though I liked the first one, many critics and audiences did not. Also, they can get away with much more now than in 1977.

They have made a few remakes of "War of the Worlds" but they still have not come close to being as good as the original 1953! Seen them all and the TV series too and they don't hold a candle to the original!

"THE PIT AND THE PENDELUM" HAVING SEEN SOME FILM FOOTAGE OF LATE RE FORIEGN INSTITUTIONS, SOME THINGS HAVEN'T CHANGED.

"TOBACCO ROAD" and "HOW GREEN WAS MY VALLEY". SEE OUR FUTURE IF THINGS DON'T CHANGE. THE EXCEPTION IN REAL LIFE WILL BE THE CRIME.

None. Furthermore, any remake of a movie should not be eligible for an Oscar in any category.

I would remake the Iron Lady! Althought Meryl Streep did an outstanding job, I thought the way they told the story was disrepectful to the , still living, Prime Minister and politically motivated. They could have gotten alot more out of the story if they told it from a different perspective.Go see it and let me know what you think?

I don't know that I would wish to see any remade, however, I would like to see the book titled " The Truth Trap" turned into a movie. I read the book about forty years ago and have never been able to get it out of my mind. A very moving story and would make an excellent movie. It really surprises me that this has not been done already. I really thought by now Oprah would have latched onto it, or maybe even Hallmark because it is just that kind of movie that makes you think about life and the morals and values one places on it. Right up either of their alleys if you ask me.
