I loved her performance in Bridges of Madison County. There was one scene where she is washing dishes and is deep in thought. The camera closes in on her face. There is no dialogue. She delivered a powerful scene without speaking a word. |

Have to agree with a prior post,,,,whatever last movie of Meryl Streep's I saw is likely my favorite! Just saw Hope Springs yesterday.....wonderful for viewers of a "certain age". Audience had about 1/3 men, all likely with a woman who dragged them there. I laughed and cried. Julia and Julia before this. Anything she does is worth seeing and probably worth buying to re-view again and again. |

Posted by LynneG Hope Srrings is very funny, and both Meryl Streep and Tomme Lee Jones do a great acting job.
