I absolutely loved The Bridges of Madison County with Clint Eastwood as her co-star.
Actually, every movie I've see with her has been fantastic.

My favorite was Robert Redford until I saw her with Clint Eastwood. She is such a great actress that it's very difficult to have just one favorite!

Ah - there are so many. Meryl Streep is such a delightful actress. Falling in Love w/ Robert De Niro; It's Complicated w/ Alec Baldwin and Steve Martin-- looking forward to Hope Springs with Tommy Lee Jones.

No doubt for me - when it comes to 'chemistry' she just sizzled with Alan Alda in The Seduction of Joe Tynan. Funny how a scene can stick with you for years, but when she asks him " is something happening here?" I just can't imagine she was acting a role. It seemed that real.

The first time I saw Meryl Streep was in "Holocoust" a tv series many years ago when I was young. My favorite role was "Out Of Africa" opposite Robert Reford. Ther is just something about him.
As a kid I always wanted to go to Africa, still do, and this movie just sucked me in.
Even when she played the Mom in "Mamma Mia", I didn't know she could sing and sing well! I had the sound track for the stage play but after seeing the movie, I wanted that version. I wanted to hear Meryl sing "The Winner Takes It All".
In watcing her in interviews, I always thought she'd be such a cool friend. She plays such a variety of rolls and yet she's so down to earth and really don't think she's that special, but she is and I as well as many of us are glad she is still acting.
Yea I'm a fan.

Absolutely ANYONE that she co-stars with. The woman is so versatile, she could probably appear in a love story starring only herself!

I think Meryl Streep's ability to do accents is just one aspect of her greatness as an actress. She conveys emotion extremely well. I think one of her best roles was in Sophie's Choice, a movie I will never see again because it is so powerfully heart wrenching. One of my other favorites is River Wild in which she portrays a very strong woman and does it well. I have not seen all of her movies and am working on remedying that. Jim

I can't imagine her in a role that she wouldn't succeed at. Even movies that didn't necessarily appeal to me, her role was exceptional. My favorite co- star would have to be Robert Redford.

What a question!! I think Ms Streep can bring out the best in almost any actor or actress she costars with. My favorites? It's tough to answer but I can think of a few :). Has anyone ever seen "Falling In Love" co-starring Robert DeNiro? If that movie doesn't make one cry buckets, I don't know what would do it. And "Bridges of Madison County" with Clint Eastwood! OMG! She should make another movie with both of them again! I,too, did not realize she had a beatiful singing voice till I saw "Momma Mia" but a friend told me about her singing in "Postcards From The Edge" so I rented it and plan to purchase it soon to add to my collection. "The Devil Wears Prada" is another favorite---she's the only one I can think of who could speak in a soft, steady voice and still scare the ba-gee-bees out of you! And "It's Complicated"? All of these marvelous roles and awards and she still seems like a very down to earth person who I would love to share a pot of coffee with! We love you, Ms Streep! Can't wait till your next movie!

She's on the cover of the latest AARP magazine with Tommy Lee Jones (another fave of mine). Can't wait to read the article!
