Hi - She's one of our favorite actresses, and some say she's the best actress of her generation. So, did she move you in one particular role? Of the men in her (movie) life, which actor brought out the best in her? Feel free to join the doubters - who think Streep is a chameleon whose acting is all about accents and surfaces.

Looking forward to some discussion here... If you're coming here from someplace other than the slidehow of "Meryl and Her Men" - enjoy that first - then let us know what you think!

I Love Meryly Streep, the first movie I watched of her was Kramer vs. Kramer, I cried so much in that movie and I became a fan LOL. I was unaware Meryl Streep could sing, so I was curious and rented Mommie Mia, Loved it!!! I am looking forward to her new movie that will be released in August costaring Tommy Lee Jones. i want to purchase all her movies to have her collection. As for the Men opposite of her I think from the previews of her new movie withTommy Lee Jones they make a cute couple. The past men, I have yet to see ALL her movies, so what I have seen, Steve Martin, Liam Neelson and the guy in IronLady, this too was a great movie!!! I am happy that she is still making movies for us to enjoy, may she continue for many years to come.

She is such a great actress that she has, or at least appears to have, great chemistry with all of her co-stars. She has made two or more movies with Kevin Kline, Jeremy Irons, Robert DeNiro, Sam Neill, drama, comedy, musicals. She is such a delight to watch. It is hard to choose a favorite role - she is the most nominated actress of all time and has won three (should be a lot more) Oscars and her performances in these and others are memorable. I simply consider her performance in Sophie's Choice to be her best, and one of the best of all time.

Thanks AARP for allowing us to preview "Hope Springs". The chemistry between her and Tommy Lee was terrific and the movie was honest and very entertaining. We laughed countless times as did the entire audience. I always think whatever Streep movie I saw last was my favorite and this is no exception.

Many favorites but I particullarly enjoyed her and Eastwood in "The Bridges Of Madison County" and Pierce Brosnan in "Mamma Mia."

Thank you AARP for allowing me (us) to preview "Hope Springs". I laughed and cried...such a terrifc movie. I last saw her in "It's Complicated" another terrific movie. The first time I remember seeing her was in "Holocaust" fell in love with her then. I have enjoyed watching her with each of her co-stars.

Since my all-time favorite movie is "Out of Africa," I'd have to say Robert Redford and Meryl had wonderful chemistry. But her role as Julia in "Julia and Julia" with Stanley Tooci was just great. Then there's the sizzle with Meryl and Clint Eastwood in "Bridges of Madison County" that just made you ache for the longing between the two of them. And, the tension created between Kevin Bacon and Meryl in "River Wild" was really frightening. She's just a totally amazing actress and worthy of every award she's ever gotten and then perhaps some she didn't.

I agree...all good chemistry, and I was especially delighted with the way she connected with Stanley Tucci in 'Julie and Julia', especially after reading that Julia Child and her husband had that kind of marriage.
