"2010 - The Year We Make Contact" is the sequel to "2001, A space Odyssey"; this movie is a Sci-Fi story about man's attempts to make contact with a mysterious and powerful entity that has presided over a troubled humanity's development since its creation. It is not what you would call a holiday classic, but it ends with the birth of a new world heralded by creation of a new star in the night sky, with the promise of peace on earth. I always watch it this time of year...my sons think I'm nuts. |
