In Response to Re: Classic Scary Movies: I love watching the old movies that were popular when I was a kid...Dracula, Frankenstein, The Mummy and the Wolfman. The one from the 60's that really frightened me was the "Night of the Living Dead". It still freaks me out when I see the "dead" walking toward the living, then chomping away on them for a meal. Yes, Psycho was truly scary with the mentally sick Norman Bates who kept his dead mother in the basement and assumed her identity when he killed the woman in the shower scene. Unlike the old thrillers, this one took on a frightening psychological perspective as it wasn't just a curse but an insane person who could have lived next door.
