2012 Oscars - Did you watch?

Okay, so I watched the Oscars last night and walked away with mixed feelings. On one hand, AARP was represented well with Meryl Streep winning best actress and Christopher Plummer winning best supporting actor. But I felt as though The Help and The Descendants were left in the cold. And I was a tad bit surprised Scorsese didn't win best director.

At any rate, what are you thoughts? Are you all happy with the winners? Surprised? Let's discuss. =)

Instead of watching the Oscars, I watched TCM, where they are showing all of the old Oscar Winning movies! I watched What's the Matter With Baby Jane, with Betty Davis and Joan Crawford! Priceless!

The most exciting part about the Oscars was when the underdog movie, that our son worked as assistant editor on (for a song), won in the documentary catagory! "Undefeated" is his and the film crew's story as well. It was his first movie and he worked very very hard to help make it come together. We are so amazed and proud.
