WARNING: PARTICIPATION IN THIS ACTIVITY IS INSTANTLY ADDICTIVE! This little daily builds pumps up vocab muscles, tightens flabby grammar, strengthens memory-recall stamina, and gets creative juices flowing!  It's simple, easy and fun for everyone.Here's how: A new list of nine words will be posted daily (see below). Write an original poem, (very) short story or poem re any theme or topic you wish, and no time limits apply. Rule 1: EACH of the nine words must be used at least once in your piece. Rule 2: Share and enjoy! 9WAD List #1, 2/15 Generous Horizons Dancing Hesitate Apology Bridge People Shimmer Especially Bonus word: boomerang Be sure to highlight list words in you piece (bold, italicize, underscore, etc). Single, plural and tense variations are allowed. Okay, let's go feel the burn! Denise |

In Response to 9WAD Daily - A Writers' Exercise for Fun and Inspiration, 2/15/12: Generous Horizons Dancing Hesitate Apology Bridge People Shimmer Especially Bonus word: boomerang An Indian Summer Night With Mother Nature Lingering on the bridge of Atlanta's Chattahoocheein the still peace of a clear indian summer night; I hesitate, mesmerized by the beautiful horizon each shimmer of moonbeam on water, dancing light. Too often, people take Mother Nature for granted to her, we owe apology, respect and more green; like boomerangs, we always reap what we sow I know She's especially generous by this scene! Pets are a great comfort, but, they grow ! A beach is nice, full of wonder, beware undertow, don't go under ! Crazy thoughts that come together, oh, one more thing "Forget the weather !" And family and friends ?...Always a plus ! |

You're pretty good at this; a natural born 9WAD head! And, I'm lovin' it. Sharing is my favorite part of 9WADing because: (1) every piece is original, (2) no two are alike, and (3) the "no-holds-barred" creativity is awesome! Keep it coming, and tell a friend to bring a friend . . . D |

I laugh when . . . friends, family or strangers, schmooz to charm and snow others into believing what they say; then, unmasked when a child's innocent quip or pets' react to instinct and gives them away!
