My mother always said laughter can make any load lighter. She passed away in 2006, just before her 97th birthday.
When she was 80 she wrote CAN WE COME IN AND LAUGH, TOO?, a delightful memoir about growing up as the youngest of ten children in a zany early 1900s family. It was published in 2012. In it, she talks about their antics and how the neighbors would knock at the door to ask if they could come in and laugh too. She takes you from the early 1900s through two World Wars and regales the reader with stories as well about how laughter got her through some very stressful situations in later years.
Thousands have read the Kindle or paperback eiditons and now the KINDLE EDITION will be FREE 3/14, 15, 16 on Amazon. Download it and laugh with Rosetta. The paperback would make a very nice Mother's Day gift.
Have you written down your stories so they won't be lost for future generations?
