I'm both honored and humbled by your recognition; thank you.  It's true, I haven't been around long, but you feel like old friends and family to me already.

So far, I've given you little info, but that's just me being me.  As time passes, I'll share bits here and there; before you know it, you'll probably know far more than you wanna know!Laughing  Here are three things you didn't know about me:

1.  I was born "twice" on March 15, the Ides of March.  First in 1952 (I turned 60 two days ago), and

2.  again as a cancer survivor in 2002.  Two weeks after surgery, I returned home on my 50th birthday; and

3.  you can see more of me at http://www.brightlightmultimedia.com/blcafe/ShowcasedTalent-DeniseMarshall

Denise,
Thanks for sharing the information about yourself. I could not get the link to work from the posting but did copy it and paste it into goggle and arrived at the correct web site. I particularly liked "Spring Summer Midnight Collage". Reminds me of something....like the story we were creating. At first I was seeing the main character as a hoarder who could not get rid of anything. I was basing this on a visit to distant cousins (in Georgia) who had boxes and stacks of papers and magazines piled so high in their house that you could only go down a narrow alley. Then I began to feel she was an artist. Great work and I look forward to seeing more from you.

I can understand your confusion, unfortunately, many a southern family has been known for its trash.  Figuratively AND literally!  lol

Bright Light Cafe is open to all who wish to post there; I think you should, too.
