I recently read Jeff Abbott's book Adrenaline. This was my 1st time for this author, and I could not put it down from the first page.  I also started reading his book called Cut and Run. The same thing, grabs you from the first page.
Has anyone else read this author?

I haven't read or heard of this author.  What type of book is this?  Thriller?  Mystery?  Tell me more.

Thanks.

Teri

I just finished an amazing book, Encouraged by the Light, by John Christian Edwards.

It is about an accident when he was young. Supposed to be a true story. His head was banged up, kind of like traumatic brain injury. He spent four days coming and going delirious, unconscious, blind, and disagreeable. During all that he had these out of body experiences and a real interesting near-death experience.

He helped me understand them better. He is on Social Security now so he has had a lot of years to think about it. He discusses it from both an objective and subjective point of view. He explains lots!

An easy read, even though he gets into some pretty deep stuff occasionally.

Found it real comforting, as I lost family this last year. I guess the Scripture in it is reassuring.

Oh, there is this thing to. Cool A pretend video of what it is like to trip to the City of Light:

Has anyone read any of Emmet Fox's books?

I recently discovered Emmet Fox who writes regarding the Spiritual Journey. He speaks about our lives as a quest for an authentic journey to find God and our purpose in life. I have found his books interesting and helpful as one who is recently retired and now out of the workforce. I no longer have roles to play as I did as a professional but now have time to discover the real ME whom God created and even now has a meaning and purpose which I am excited to discover. He is worth the time reading.
