- Ben Shneiderman, Ph.D, University of Maryland
- Dr. Shneiderman is a Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Founding Director (1983-2000) of the Human-Computer Interaction Laboratory at UMD. He is the author of numerous texts, most recently the acclaimed Leonardo's Laptop. He was made a Fellow of the ACM in 1997, elected a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science in 2001, and received the ACM CHI (Computer Human Interaction) Lifetime Achievement Award in 2001.

- Mark has been with AARP and ASI since 1994 and has been integral in the development of the Association's Internet strategies. In his current role, he is tasked with delivering an online presence for AARP that increases member relevancy, attracts new members, and serves the Association's social mission.

Before joining AARP, she was a principal of Ellipsis Partners, a group that provided strategic education, research and planning related to the Internet in the non-profit sector.
