Contest Background
In Fall 2007, we invited job seekers 50 and older to share their vision of the perfect job. We asked contestants to submit brief essays about their dream jobs and to describe how journaling about their pursuit would help others.
Contest Outcome
Our judges read more than 7,000 essays to bring you six people whose journeys can benefit you in the pursuit of your work aspirations. Each winner has received a career coaching or business start-up package from RetirementJobs.com. Winners will share their experiences with other 50+ job seekers through the AARP online community.
