A federal judge ruled that the Equal Employment Opportunities Commission (EEOC) erred in proposing different levels of health benefits and to encourage early retirement. In an era in which employers are cutting benefits across the board to deal with skyrocketing health care costs, 60,000 people flooded the EEOC with objections to the proposition.
