It’s time to start thinking about filing your taxes and, once again, AARP Foundation is providing free assistance and preparation through the AARP Tax-Aide program.

Tax-Aide, in its 44th year, is the nation’s largest free tax assistance and preparation service, giving special attention to people over age 60. Tax-Aide helps taxpayers with low to moderate income. You do not need to be a member of AARP or a retiree to use this service.
Tax Aide sites will open February 1st and continue through April 15th.
AARP Tax-Aide locations can be found throughout the Sooner State online by calling 1-888-AARPNOW (1-888-227-7669).
More than 35,000 Tax-Aide volunteers, trained in cooperation with the Internal Revenue Service, helped over 2.6 million taxpayers at nearly 6,500 sites across the country with the preparation of their income tax returns in 2010.
