This service of the National Council on Aging helps thousands of people age 55 and older to find programs that may pay for some of their costs of prescription drugs, health care, utilities, and other essential items or services.

CICOA Aging & In-Home Solutions
This area agency on aging helps older adults and people with disabilities live with dignity and as independently as possible. It serves as a single point of entry for in-home services for persons with disabilities, regardless of age, in eight central Indiana counties.

The Generations Project
The Generations Project is a coalition of leading consumer advocates that seek to educate citizens, advocates, and policy makers about the opportunities for Hoosiers to implement a balanced and responsible long-term care system.

HoosierRx
HoosierRx is Indiana's Prescription Drug Program for low-income seniors. Any eligible senior enrolled in the program will receive a HoosierRx Drug Card to use at their local pharmacy. With the HoosierRx Drug Card, eligible seniors will receive 50% off of the cost of their medications, up to a yearly benefit cap.

Medicare Drug Benefit Calculator
The Kaiser Family Foundation has created an on-line calculator that can help older adults determine how the new MedicareRx law affects their drug costs. Users can enter figures for their annual prescription drug costs into the calculator to determine find out what they would pay.
