These are just a few of the money-savvy strategies we'll be discussing during the October Savings Fest, all designed to help you meet the challenge of saving money on everything you buy this month.
Like in past Savings Challenges, we'll be holding a contest every week based on a specific money-saving challenge and giving away a prize to each weekly winner. And after the Challenge ends on Oct. 30, 2011, we'll be selecting three overall winners based on creativity, participation and how well the member captures the theme of the challenge.
I hope you'll register for the Savings Challenge group — if you're not already a member (it's free!) — opt in to the green savings tracker tool to share your goal and participate in this special October Savings Fest. I promise that you'll save some money — and have some laughs — along the way.
But you'd better bring your "A" game when it comes to pinching pennies, because this time around we're challenging you to pay less than full price for everything you buy this month!
