AARP is more active than ever throughout Missouri, which means exciting volunteer opportunities for you.
Making a DifferenceAARP is more active than ever throughout Missouri. Every day, we provide new opportunities for our members—to speak on issues that concern them, to make their own life choices, to reach their goals and dreams, and to make the most of life after 50. That's where you come in.
People like you have always been AARP's greatest resource. Today, we need your know-how and enthusiasm more than ever to help us achieve the goals AARP members care about most—health and financial security, independent living, safer and stronger communities, and many more.
You can help by volunteering your time and talent to make a difference across Missouri while having fun and meeting lots of new people along the way.
Community VolunteersAARP Missouri Community Service/Education volunteers enrich the lives of members and their families in communities across the state. Volunteers receive training and support to implement the following activities in their communities:
- Organizing community education forums on AARP priority issues
- Working with community organizations to provide members with local volunteer opportunities
- Supporting grassroots education initiatives
- Initiating personal enrichment and outreach events for members and their families
- Partnering with local groups and organizations to provide resources and information to members and their families
Don't miss your chance to make a difference in your community. For more information, call, write or e-mail Marla Sutton at the AARP Missouri State office AARP today.
