AARP Nevada is expanding its volunteer team across the state with new and exciting volunteer roles.

"We’re getting a great response to our outreach, but we still have opportunities available,” said Nancy Andersen, AARP Nevada Volunteer Program Manager. “Nevadans are motivated by a sense of giving back to the community for the successes they've had in life. They tell me they like to stay socially involved and want to continue to use their talents and skills while serving their communities.”

AARP Nevada volunteers, working with paid staff and community colleagues, are a necessary and vital force in achieving the Association's vision, mission and strategic goals at the local, state and national level. Each AARP Nevada volunteer receives free in-depth training in skills and issues relating to their volunteer position and is reimbursed for approved expenses including mileage.

Those interested in finding out how to become an AARP Nevada volunteer should call Nancy Andersen toll-free 1-866-389-5652 or send an email.
