Women's Scholarship Program
Today you have the opportunity to help women improve their lives.
There are many reasons why women face increased challenges in the second half of their lives. But the skills, education, and training needed to re-enter or stay in the work force can sometimes be out of reach. A new program recently established by the AARP Foundation and the Women’s Leadership Circle may help. The Women’s Scholarship Program gives a helping hand to women over 40. The scholarships, ranging between $500 and $5,000 depending on the cost of the program recipients enter, provide much-needed resources to facilitate entry into education and training opportunities women might not otherwise be able to afford so they can overcome financial and employment barriers and remain independent for years to come.
Through your donation, you can help women over 40 receive more education and training, find better-paying jobs and reenter the workforce. Make your contribution today!
