Jan Andersson

Mr. Jan Andersson is a Swedish member of the Socialist Group in the European Parliament. He is Chairman of the Committee on Employment and Social Affairs. Andersson also serves in the Conference of Committee Chairmen as well as the Delegation for relations with Japan.
Mr. Andersson has served in many levels of government in Sweden. He was a member of the Helsingborg Municipal Executive Board, Chairman of the Helsingborg Social Welfare Board, and member of the Swedish Parliament. Since 1995, he has been a member of the European Parliament.
