I'm interested in renting a condo, for two to four weeks, in a senior complex that has social activities like bingo, cards, etc., and that offers transportation to local stores and shopping centers, fee or free. Do you know of any? Do you have a list of locations in the United States?

There are many places that offer condominium accommodations especially geared for seniors. The Web site SeniorsTravelGuide.com offers a list of different condos offered by users. Ads on the site often list the amenities offered to seniors and information about how close shopping, medical, and other activities are to the rental. It can be a little difficult to navigate the site, but if you search directly for the area you want to stay in, you might be able to find a good deal.
Another site, SeniorResource.com, offers age-restricted apartments and rentals (55 and up, or 62 and up) that range in price from luxury to “affordable” apartments. These communities are more likely to offer transportation services. Some even offer golf courses and recreational facilities! This site offers both apartments and short-term condominiums, so make sure you are searching for what you want. You might also want to look at Senior Housing Net, http://www.seniorhousingnet.com/seniors/. The site allows you to search for the type of community you want, as long as you know where you want to go. All these rentals are targeted for seniors, and most of them offer the services you are seeking.
