I was just wondering if you know of any hotels in the Mystic Seaport, Conn., area that might be offering free gas cards. Are there any Web sites that I could check? Thanks for your time. –Al, Little Falls, N.J.

My specific area of concern right now is train travel between Budapest, Hungary, and Prague, and from Prague to Nuremberg, Germany. I have found some sites with schedules and prices but have no way of knowing how actually to purchase a ticket, or if I'm getting a decent deal or not. My husband's and my ages are 63, so we should qualify for whatever "senior" rates are available. Thank you. –Linda, Bethesda, Md.

Hi, I really hope you can help us! My daughter is getting married in Maui in June, and the airfare is expensive for five people (my husband, myself, sister, brother, and his fiancé). With this economy and our son getting married three months later, we are about to lose our minds with the costs involved. Can you tell us a good way or when to book our flights? I would be so appreciative of any help you could offer. –Marilyn Howell, N.J.

You say to avoid renting a car at the airport, so where else would you find a car rental in Phoenix, Ariz.? Thank you. –Deanna Casper, Wyo.

My wife and I travel to the UK twice a year using US Airways. The last return trip was delayed six hours due to "maintenance issues." A month later, we each received a $100 voucher to put toward a future flight, because of the delay. Good news. The bad news is that I tried to use the vouchers for our next trip and was told we would have to apply them to a higher fare than that available on the Web, and it would end up costing us more! This seems inconsistent and unfair, as we have booked the same flights and same class fares for the last few years. What is the best way to get the attention of an authority at US Airways? Thank you very much for your help. –John, Rock Hall, Md.

Hi Peter, We will be in Florence, Italy, this summer. We would like to stay at a small home, a pensione that is not a hotel. Are there monthly rates that are less than daily rates? –Harris, McCall, Idaho

Dear Peter, Over the past five years, I have accumulated almost $1,500 Disney "dollars" on my credit card. Can I use my Disney dollars to pay for resort and theme-park tickets? How easy or difficult are they to use? Can I use them to book special promotional offers? I would be taking my family of four (3 adults and 1 teen) and would buy a 6- or 7-day ticket with the “park hopper” option for each person. Any additional information would be appreciated as far as the best "bang for the buck" I could get, since we don't vacation very often. –Billie, LaPorte, Ind.

Peter, What has happened to car rental rates? They have more than doubled in the past two years. We are looking for a one-week rental in Dallas. Do you have any suggestions? –Lorraine, Northville, Mich.
