If one needs to be transported by wheelchair from their car to the airplane, how much should one tip the person who is transporting one?
-Connie, Buffalo, N.Y.

To answer your question, we turned to an expert, Cynthia Lett, the founder and Executive Director of the International Society of Protocol & Etiquette Professionals. According to her,

"Tipping at the airport really depends upon the level of service one receives. The standard for being helped in a wheelchair is $10 but could be as much as $20 if the helper made sure the wheelchair-bound passenger made a tight connection, or carried their bags or helped with a ticketing problem. Also, they would get the higher amount if they helped with getting a cab."
