Q: What is the average temperature in the Amalfi Coast during April, specifically the city of Maori?
-Mary, Everett, Mass.

A:
In Italy's Amalfi Coast in April, the average temperature is about 66.4 Fahrenheit for highs, and 49.8 Fahrenheit for the lows, according to AccuWeather. Other sources indicate that the average daytime temperatures will be in the 60s in April, while it cools to the low 50s or upper 40s at night. In other words, it could get into the upper 70s or even 80s during the day, but likely won't be too scorching. And while it may get cool, you definitely won't think you're still in Massachusetts.

Interestingly, April could be a great time to go. Unlike spring in other parts of Italy or Europe, it's not a big time for rain; there's actually more of that from September through the winter into March. And the summer heat is definitely not yet in effect.
