My daughter travels a lot, and she's been trying to lose weight. How can she find a gym when she's on the road...preferably without having to pay a fortune to use it?

–Anna, Jackson, Miss.

One great resource to check out is Airportgyms.com. This site lists many gyms in the United States and Canada that are located in (or near) airports. Along with the listings, the site offers the cost of a day pass and maps on where to find the gyms. Do be aware that some of the listings are not fully updated, so it's a good idea to call ahead to verify the information before you arrive.

If your daughter has a bit longer of a layover, she should check out local YMCAs and community centers, which often offer day passes for much less than other gyms. To find a YMCA near you, go to http://www.ymca.net/maps/ and enter the appropriate ZIP code of the area where you're trying to find a gym.
