I'm leaving on a Mediterranean cruise from Barcelona, and I need the name of a moderately priced hotel for one night. Could you please recommend one? Thank you.

One option is a new Holiday Inn Express, which opened in the sleek 22@Barcelona complex in May 2008. This is a neat area, an ultra-modern part of Barcelona that's not too far from the more historic parts of the city center. The location isn't too far from the port and transit is fairly accessible. Rates here start at 120€.
Calle Pallars 203
Barcelona, 08019, SPAIN
Hotel Barcelona Universal is another interesting option, though it may be a bit more than you're looking to spend. It has a boutique feel, an excellent location just a few minutes from a metro stop, the vibe is fairly hip, and it offers a pool and solarium. Also, it happens to be pretty close to Barcelona's port, from which you'll depart on your cruise. Rates start at 183€ per night for a standard room for the "Early Booking Super Deal" if you book online.
Del Paral.lel, Del 76-78
Barcelona, 08001, SPAIN
HCC Hotel Open is another newish property, having opened in 2004. Rooms start at 112€ for a single guest in a double room, or 129€ for a double with two people. The vibe is much more Days Inn than W Hotel, but the location is not bad, being located roughly in the center of city.
