New lasers will soon be writing pricing information, names, and country of origin, on fruit and vegetables in the U.S. The technology may make the produce easier for the government to track and less annoying for consumers, who have had the messy task of removing stickers from the skin before eating. Jim Harriott takes a look at the trend.
