It may be commonly understood the the environment in which we live and work affects our moods, but many may not realize that it can also have an impact on our bodies.
Medical doctor and landscape architect Dr. Joanne Westphal designs landscapes with health in mind. She discusses with host Mike Cuthbert how medicine and landscaping can work together to treat illnesses and facilitate rehabilitation, and explains the therapeutic elements of the landscape design for the Vietnam War Memorial.
