The beautiful bells of the National Cathedral's Carillon in Washington, D.C., are played exclusively for Prime Time Radio and our listeners in this truly wonderful holiday special. We again visit the bell tower to talk with the Cathedral's master carillonneur Edward Nassor. We hear seasonal and other music from four different centuries and from Tchaikovsky to Duke Ellington.
In a unique style in which his warmth and intellect color his incredible knowledge, Nassor describes the history, traditions, and workings of these magnificent bells.
