In honor of Veterans Day, we are re-broadcasting the acclaimed one-hour special on the Library of Congress’ ongoing effort to collect the stories of the men and women who fought our wars. In their own voices, American veterans offer their compelling, sometimes heartbreaking, sometimes heart-warming stories. Host Mike Cuthbert talks with the Veterans History Project’s Director Ellen Lovell and one of her leading advisors, former Tuskeegee Airman Col. Lee Archer, as they present a few of the thousands of hours of oral histories collected so far.
