Rebecca Norris Webb hails from Hot Springs, S.D., and now lives in New York City. For the past three years, she has traveled extensively around the state working on a book of photographs called "My Dakota." Originally a poet and a journalist (with a master's from Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism), she published her first book in 2006. In "The Glass Between Us," she considered the complicated relationship between people and animals in cities. She teaches workshops around the world with Alex Webb, her husband and creative partner. The two are collaborating on a joint book called "Violet Isle: A Duet of Photographs from Cuba."
