Historians are not well-known for their adventuresome spirits-but when historian Adam Nicolson decided to travel, his trip was not for the faint of heart. Nicolson left his wife and kids behind for a year to navigate the rugged western coast of the British Isles. He joins host Mike Cuthbert to talk about his book, Seamanship, chronicling his often perilous adventures, and to share what he learned, mostly about himself, on his voyage.
