Jump Start Your Memory Performance Right Now

Learn the three basic memory skills – LOOK, SNAP, CONNECT – to see immediate improvement in your memory performance:

  1. LOOK: Actively observe what you wish to remember. Take your time, focus, and concentrate. LOOK stands for all five senses so don't forget to listen, smell, feel, etc.
  2. SNAP: Create a mental snapshot since most people find it much easier to learn and recall visual images than any other kind of information.
  3. CONNECT: Link up your visual images or SNAPs for later recall.

Try it out on the following list of errands (create a mental SNAP for each item and then a story connecting the items):

  • Get eggs and milk at market
  • Pick up laundry
  • Get stamps at post office
  • Buy ladder at hardware store
