Divided We Fail State Issue Poll Shows AARP Members Likely to Change Candidate Preferences as They Learn More About Positions on Health and Financial Security
August 23, 2007— Divided We Fail released its first Election Issue Survey in the five early caucus and primary states which surveyed a total of 5,000 AARP members likely to attend the Republican or Democratic caucuses or primaries. The survey found that two-thirds of those polled are likely to change their candidate preference once they learn more about the candidates’ positions on health and financial security.

July 25, 2007— In the latest effort to bring individuals, businesses, consumer groups and government together to find solutions for Americans' health and financial security concerns, the Divided We Fail coalition will send over 2,000 people to converge on Capitol Hill today.

June 28, 2007— With Presidential debates failing to address America's top domestic issues, the Divided We Fail group announced a debate question tracker will debut after this week's PBS forum at Howard University. Only 6.4 percent of total questions asked in the first five national debates focused on health care and financial security.
