A month out from the first caucuses in Iowa, Divided We Fail and AARP are launching a multi-city bus tour with volunteers and team members visiting cities and town across Iowa delivering copies of the new presidential candidate side-by-side booklet, In Their Own Words, with candidate quotes on the issues of health care and long-term financial security.

"Our members continue to tell us that health care and financial security are their two most pressing domestic concerns," said Bruce Koeppl, Iowa Divided We Fail Campaign Manager. "In Their Own Words shows that Divided We Fail's calls for action and answers have not gone unheard. Educating voters is our main goal."

As the first statewide, grassroots campaign of the national Divided We Fail project, Iowa-based organizations representing business, industry, education, labor and advocacy have teamed to help Iowans leverage their unique political status with the first-in-the-nation caucuses. The growing team of Iowa members include: AARP, former Governor Terry Branstad, Communications Workers of America Local 7102, DeWaay Capital Management, Des Moines University, Easter Seals, Iowa Assn. of Homes & Services for the Aging, Iowa Caregivers Assn., Iowa Credit Union League, Iowa Health Care Assn., Long-Term Care Guild of Des Moines, Marsh, Progressive Action for the Common Good of the Quad Cities, Qwest Communications, SEIU Iowa, Siouxland Chamber of Commerce and Wells' Dairy Inc.
