In their September 27th Political Stock Report, IowaPolitics.com notes:

New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson has pointed to people wearing red shirts at his campaign events and asked them to explain the group's work to bring health care and financial security to the forefront. The campaign volunteers have a presence at nearly every campaign event to quiz candidates about their issues. Last week, Divided We Fail gained national exposure with a forum that had five top Democratic candidates talking about its core agenda items. Was it a coincidence that Sen. Hillary Clinton released her health care plan in Des Moines just four days before the Divided We Fail forum? Or that Sen. Barack Obama, who skipped the forum, discussed health care the day after in Ames then talked financial security on Saturday in Osceola?"

"We're thrilled to know that our grassroots efforts on the Presidential Campaign is making a positive difference," remarked Pete Jeffries, Divided We Fail's Senior Campaign Coordinator. "We look forward to engaging more caucus-goers in Iowa and educating voters nationwide as Divided We Fail moves forward in raising visibility to health and financial security issues as well as seeking answers and action from the candidates."

The second AARP Presidential Candidate Forum will be held on Oct. 25th at Sioux City’s Orpheum Theater.
