Congressional Black Congress Supports Divided We Fail

From left to right: Reps. Danny Davis (D-IL), Hank Johnson (D-GA), Donna Christensen (D-VI), Barbara Lee (D-CA), John Lewis (D-GA), David Scott (D-GA), Sanford Bishop (D-GA), Donald Payne (D-NJ), Bobby Rush (D-IL) and William Jefferson (D-LA).
On September 16th, several Congressional Black Caucus (CBC) members convened to ceremoniously sign the Divided We Fail platform in the US Capitol's Rayburn Room. AARP applauds the 41 CBC members who have either signed the Congressional pledge or sent a letter of support showing their commitment to work across party lines to ensure that every American has access to affordable, quality health care and long-term financial security.

Reps. Donna Christensen (D-VI), and Carolyn Cheeks Kilpatrick (D-MI), CBC Chair.
We also want to acknowledge Rep. Donna Christensen, who actively encouraged her CBC colleagues to support Divided We Fail and to become engaged in the campaign.
