Jennie Chin Hansen, AARP President-Elect (l) and Floyd Mori, National Executive Director of JACL.
On Friday, December 14, Floyd Mori, National Executive Director of the Japanese American Citizens League (JACL), signed the Divided We Fail platform, joining the fight to give all Americans access to health care and long-term financial security.
For over 75 years, the JACL has worked to activate thousands of members and community partners at the local, state and national level around key issues that impact their daily lives.
"We're thrilled to join Divided We Fail with its goal of ensuring that all Americans have access to affordable, quality health care and hard working people have the financial security they need and deserve," said Mori. "We at JACL firmly believe that one person working at the grassroots level can make a difference. When it comes to health care and retirement security, the time to act is now!"
JACL is the nation's oldest Asian American civil and human rights organization. JACL is dedicated to preserving the rights and well-being of all Asian Americans and other who fall victim to social injustice in the United States.
