100 Black Men of America Inc. joins the Divided We Fail Movement
On September 27th, 2007, Al Dotson, Jr., Chairman, and John Hammond, CEO, of the 100 Black Men of America signed the Divided We Fail platform and pledge at their Annual Fall Leadership Conference in Washington, DC.

Representing AARP at the signing ceremony was Chief Financial Officer, Rob Hagans, who said, " I am proud that the 100 Black Men and AARP will be joining forces on Divided We Fail - a national campaign to engage the American people, businesses, non-profit organizations and elected officials in finding bipartisan solutions to ensure affordable, quality healthcare and lifetime financial security for everyone."

Chairman Al Dotson, Jr. stresses the importance of the 100 Black Men of America and AARP working together on healthcare and financial security.
First established in 1963, the mission the 100 Black Men of America, Inc. is to improve the quality of life within communities and enhance educational and economic opportunities for all African Americans. 100 Black Men of America, Inc. is committed to the intellectual development of youth and the economic empowerment of the African American community based on the following precepts: respect for family, spirituality, justice, and integrity.
