By hosting an AARP Driver Safety course you can promote safe driving and help older drivers maintain their mobility and independence. Serving as a host is a great way for your organization to create goodwill and give back to your community.

What it means to be a host

AARP Driver Safety hosts typically provide a free and easily accessible room in which to hold the course. They often also make a VCR, TV, or DVD player available, one of which is needed for the class.

Hosts can help promote the course by displaying AARP Driver Safety materials in visible areas, on their websites, or in newsletters and in other forms of communication.

AARP Driver Safety supplies the following:

  • Trained instructors to teach the courses
  • Course materials, including workbooks for each participant
  • Promotional materials, such as brochures, posters, and bookmarks
