The Cost of Assisted Living

Statistics show the nation is getting older; about 8,000 boomers are turning 65 daily for the next 18 years. Reports also project that nearly two-thirds of people over age 65 will need long-term care. If that care is in a nursing home or assisted living facility, the cost can be astronomical, and, as recent data show, it's climbing, increasing 2.39 percent over 2010.
