Remember a time before running water and indoor plumbing? In an age of great technological advancements it’s hard to imagine such a thing. Environmentalist Bill Powers describes his time of living in a 12x12 cabin free of modern amenities. He used rain water to shower and fire instead of electricity. His latest book, Twelve by Twelve, is a journey in responsible living and how we all can form a deeper connection with nature, people and ourselves.
Powers has spent over a decade working in development aid and conservation in Latin America, Africa and Washington, D.C. Listen as he details his experiences with PrimeTime Radio host Mike Cuthbert.
