In 2011, AARP released our most recent report on family caregiving, Valuing the Invaluable, which showed as many of 61million Americans provided family members with caregiving services during the prior year, for an estimated economic value of $450 billion. Though AARP commissioned the report in the past, each survey showed significantly numbers of caregivers than in years’ past. Family caregiving is increasing with the graying of America.
